8-8-16 - A variation of "Eight on a Hand", this exercise focuses on warming up the battery ensemble using consistent rebound strokes. This is a great exercise to put in your warm up sequence which gets the blood flowing and the ears open!
Eights "Plus" - This is not your typical "Eights" exercise. While the exercise maintains the purpose of getting your performers hands moving, it also moves a step further by adding alternating strokes. This allows the performer to focus on the consistency of the 8th note hand without the "boring" sound of just 8th notes.
5-7-10 - This Accent Tap exercise helps the performers build their fundamentals by using all 4 stroke types. By utilizing these skills, this exercise provides an outstanding building block in preparing for the various accent patterns found in show music.
Hero Rolls - This exercise is designed to assist performers with the proper placement of diddles throughout a triplet passage. This should be performed with crush buzzes and open rolls to allow roll qualities to be rehearsed. The tag ending adds a bit fo flare for the audiences' pleasure.
