Brandon Beck

Brandon has been a music educator since 2006. He currently attends the University of Alabama - Birmingham (UAB) where he assists in teaching the UAB Drumline and performs with various music ensembles on campus including the Wind Symphony and the Percussion Ensemble. Previously, Brandon attended Auburn University where he studied under Dr. Doug Rosener and performed with various ensembles including the Auburn University Drumline, Percussion Ensemble, Symphonic Winds, Concert Band, Campus Band, and Orchestra.


Brandon was a performing member of Drum Corps International (DCI) with the Santa Clara Vanguard Cadets (2007 – 2009) and the Boston Crusaders (2010) and performed as a member of Winter Guard International (WGI) with Odyssey Percussion Theater, Frequency Percussion and Pariah Percussion Theater. Since aging out in 2010, Brandon has taught DCI with the Crossmen Drum Corps, Music City Drum Corps, and is currently on staff with Southwind Drum Corps.


Brandon was also an instructor for the Macy’s Great American Marching Band (2013) and served as a summer intern for Pearl Drums in Nashville, TN (2013). Beyond the marching arts, Brandon was a performer with the Alabama All-Star Percussion Ensemble (2020). He is a member of the Percussive Arts Society and is proud to be endorsed by Pearl/Adams musical instruments and Innovative Percussion sticks and mallets.


Brandon is a member of the Percussive Arts Society and is proud to be an endorsed artist for Pearl Drums and Adams musical Instruments, Innovative Percussion sticks and mallets and Prologix Percussion. Brandon currently lives in Birmingham, AL with his beautiful wife, Michelle, and his dogs Aiden and Willow.
